About the development of this site

I am using Visual Web Developer 2008 Express to develop this site. I have Microsoft Expression Web 2 but Visual Web Developer is much easier to do programing. I am using GoDaddy to host the site (it is cheap.) The site uses ASP 3.5 and a Microsoft SQL database.

This is a combination of 2 major templates.  The primary template is Microsoft's Personal Design Web Application.  It is a CSS based template that uses master pages.  Several templates including this one are available here.  The picture pages come from Personal Site Starter Kit; many other starter kits are available here.   I had to set up the pictures database using SQL express to get it to upgrade.
